Welcome to Scotland.

My name is Francis, but most people call me Frank. I am born and based in Glasgow.

In 2008, after visiting Australia and Asia. I returned and I started a looking for new career in tourism. As a minibus driver/guide doing the regular day tours and learning more about Scottish history. After two years, I progressed to full coach licence to drive & guide larger groups of people. Going further on extended tours to the Isle of Skye. Finding this valuable work experience, I also learned many tour management skills along the way. Being responsible for planning alternative routes and drive time. Being punctual and preparing for interested groups going on boat cruises, whisky distillery tours, leading on nature trails and lunch for all, Helping with accommodation and some problem solving! And for me personally, making sure everyone was happy was challenging and very rewarding. Also fact finding, especially  the local knowledge.

After ten years experience. In 2016, I made my own decision, to start up my own business, Wee AdvenTours. Specialising in private only tours for small groups who are looking for a more personal and professional service. Polite and smartly dressed keeping a nice clean maintained luxury car. One day & extended tours available from both Glasgow & Edinburgh and port Greenock cruise-ship shore excursions.

I love meeting & guiding international tourists around Scotland. So let me help you explore more, all across this ancient land. For your comfort and style, on tour a luxury Land Rover vehicle for the wee highland roads. Including Scotch whisky distilleries, historic castles and royal palaces and scenic locations for TV/film set productions, i.e Braveheart and Outlander. You can custom design your own tour or choose from my own list of programs. All are good fun.

In my own free time, I love to go fishing especially for Salmon and watching the Glasgow Celtic football team. In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from you and I wish you good luck! Thanks for reading.
